Peter Pugger Update

After working with the pugger for the weekend, it is a well worth investment. I can now adjust the firmness of the clay fairly easy deair it without having to wedge and work it for ever, and I now have the die kit that goes with it.
Had a little bit of a learning curve but finally figured if I run a batch, reload it and then turn the batch that was run while the new batch mixes it keeps things moving.
So that's it in a nut shell. I'd recommend it to anyone who works with clay. Anyone have any questions just ask.

It's here!!

The long awaited Peter Pugger Clay mixer and deairing pugmill has arrived.
This sucker is heavy and almost more than I wanted to lift.
Removed from the box and set up and running in about an hour. Operation is super quiet. With the only start up problem, forgot to grease the o-ring seals so a vacuum could be pulled.
End result is clay that feels like it has been wedged for 10 mins with no air in it at all.

This week

We have a really exciting week in store.
A few pieces to glaze using the new glazes along with the new arrival of some long over due equipment.
Has me feeling like a kid on Christmas Eve.
I'll post pictures later this week
